  • You may be able to get a rebate for psychology services.

    To obtain a Medicare rebate, you will need an eligible Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and a referral letter from your GP.

    A MHTP plan allows rebates for up to 10 session in a calendar year, but to access the rebate you will require a valid referral letter.

    Full payment will be required on the day of your appointment and then your Medicare rebate claim can be submitted.

  • Some private health insurance ‘extras’ policies do provide rebates for psychology sessions. Full payment will be required on the day of your appointment and then you will be issued with a private receipt for your session which you can submit to your insurer. Please check coverage details with your insurer before your session. HCF, is particular, require that clients have used all of their Medicare rebatable sessions prior to accessing their private health insurance benefits.

  • Although it changes regularly, we generally have some availability for new clients. It is best to submit an Expression of Interest form to determine if we can offer a session at a time that suits you.

  • Commitment to your treatment is important for improvement in your wellbeing, and we value your time as well as our own. For these reasons, we apply a cancellation fee for any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended without informing us.

    A cancellation fee of 50% will be incurred and will need to be paid by the next appointment.
